On the other side, Baltimore 55-82, bottom of the AL East, not pretentious about anything this season, as they have been for the last good seasons, having a shape similar to the Rays winning just 2 of their last 7. Starting pitcher for the O`s will be right-hander Jeremy Guthrie, 6-16, 4.42 ERA, who is the one leading in losses this season and is on negative terms when meeting the Rays with a 6-9, 4.18 ERA. Counting the fact that with Guthrie as a starting pitcher, the Orioles have lost 3 out of 4 this season against the Rays, I think this time that Tampa Bay stands a chance of winning this series 2-1, being backed up by a pitcher who is 3-1, and an ERA unde 3.00 (2.63), Hellickson, and having no "important" injuries in the line-up. I will go farther than a win and pick the Rays to win it by 2 or more runs just like in those 3 wins over Baltimore with Guthrie as the starting pitcher.
