Lucian Bute vs Glen Johnson

This is the fight for the IBF Super Middleweight title and will be held in Quebec, the home of Lucian's Bute club, Interbox. Until now, Bute has an impressive record of 29 wins(24 of them by KO) and no loss as a pro. He won the IBF Super Middleweight title in 2007 from Alejandro Berrio and from then on he managed to keep his title. This time his contender is a 42 years old jamaican, Glen Johnson, who has a style of boxing that will suit Bute like a glove. Johnson will pressure Bute, who is loving to counter atack, as many of his KO's were obtained like this. Even the last match, against Jean Paul Mendy, was won by KO and the frenchman had a style similar to Johnson. On top of that, Glen has 42 years at the moment while Bute has "just" 31, and this will be for sure a big advantage for the romanian. The jaican is at the end of his career and even if he resist very good in the ring, I think that Bute's punches will make Johnson abandon before final gong.

Still, the technical decision isn't included in this bet and that's why I will use a small stake.
