This is the 1st match in World Cup and China has prepared very good for this competition, with more than 1 month in preparations. On the other side, USA got a little more than 1 week but they are strong team and will be able to get in the game and win this match but not without suffering in the 1st set.
China, if want to have a chance in this match, they have to take 1st set of this match because USA will become stronger and stronger in the match and IMO they will win the 2nd and 3rd sets quite easy and if China will win the 1st then USA will force even more.
Another fact that made me take this pick is that in first matches the underdogs tend to do their best in 1st set and if they loose it or win it then they somehow fall in the next sets because the dogs are pushing to win the match.
